Community + Small Business Branding
This visual identity was developed for a community-focused nonprofit program housed in a historic neighborhood building. Drawing inspiration from the building’s distinctive window motif and the vibrant, diverse culture of the surrounding community, the design features bold typography and a bright, expressive color palette to reflect the communities’s energy and deep local roots.
The program provides small businesses in the neighborhood with access to grant funding for business improvements, supporting long-term economic and cultural vitality. This project was part of The Maryland Institute College of Art’s DesignFest event, where volunteers work in teams to deliver creative solutions to various local non-profits.
